Your first dub
Here is the full journey to dub a video, end to end.
1. Create the project
Import your video from your computer or a YouTube URL. Enable automatic subtitle detection to pre-fill the rythmo band with the original dialogue.
2. Edit the rythmo band
In the editor, every line appears on the rythmo band, synced with the video. You can:
- adjust the text and timing of each line;
- add, cut and delete lines;
- assign a character to each line.
See Getting started with the editor for the overall interface layout.
3. Translate (optional)
You can translate the band into another language directly from the editor.
4. Generate voices or record
Two options, which you can combine:
- AI voices: generate a synthetic voice for a line in one click.
- Recording: record your own voice, line by line.
5. Export
Once you're happy, export your dubbed video, or generate subtitles, a DETX file, BWF stems as needed.
Tip: video export runs in the background. You get an email as soon as the render is ready.
