Manage characters

Characters let you attribute each line to a role, which structures your project and your exports (croisillé, cross-reference).

Assign a character to a line

On a line, open the character picker and choose an existing role, or create a new one (New character → Create character). You can also clear the assignment (No character).

Character colors

Each character has three customizable colors, in the Characters tab of the settings:

• Text: the color of the line's text.
• Badge: the color of the character's label.
• Track: the background color of the line on the band.

These colors make it easier to read when several characters trade lines.

Mic name

You can set a mic name per character and choose whether to show it. This name is useful for studio-bound exports (BWF, croisillé).

Multiple tracks

To show several characters in parallel on the band, add tracks (see the rythmo band tools).
