In-progress tasks and render emails

Some Voxdub operations run in the background on our servers: AI voices, translation, shot detection and video render.

The Tasks window

Open the Tasks window (⌥ + T shortcut) to follow progress. Each task shows its state:

• Queued: waiting to be processed.
• In progress: currently running.
• Done: succeeded.
• Failed: an error occurred.
• Cancelled: the task was cancelled.

Finished exports stay accessible in the Tasks window.

Render-ready email

When a video render is finished, Voxdub sends you an email ("Your Voxdub dub is ready") with a download link and a link to the project. So you can start an export and close the tab: the email will let you know.

If the email doesn't arrive, check your spam and the task's state in the Tasks window.

A task has failed

• Reopen the Tasks window to see the exact state.
• For a render, make sure a source video is attached to the project.
• Retry the operation (for example, regenerate a failed AI voice).

If a job stays stuck for an unusually long time, report it on the Discord or to [email protected], mentioning the affected project.
