Export subtitles and a DETX file
Beyond the video, Voxdub exports your work in several text formats, ready to grab right away (direct download, no queue).
Subtitles
From the export hub, Subtitles category, you can generate:
- SRT: the most common subtitle format.
- ASS: styled subtitles (Advanced SubStation Alpha).
- JSON: the band's structured data.
- DETX: the dubbing detection sheet, compatible with Cappella.
The DETX file
DETX is the exchange format for the detection sheets used in professional dubbing. It carries the lines, their timing and characters, so you can continue the work in a tool like Cappella.
Voxdub can also import a DETX to pick up an existing detection (see Import a video, the DETX tab of the import).
Cross-reference (crossref)
The Cross-reference category produces a mapping table between the source and dubbed versions, in CSV, Excel (XLSX) or PDF.
For audio stems and the presence grid, see Audio export and croisillé.
