Getting started with the editor
The Voxdub editor brings everything you need to dub a video into one place.
The main areas
- The video: the preview, with playback controls and optional subtitle display.
- The rythmo band: the synced scroll of lines beneath the video, with its toolbar.
- The script panel: the list of dialogue lines, where you edit each line's text, voice (male / female) and character. It also holds the History tab.
Playback and navigation
- Space plays or pauses.
- The arrow keys ← → step forward or back one frame; Shift + arrow steps one second.
- F9 / F10 jump to the previous / next line.
The full list is in Keyboard shortcuts.
Studio mode
Studio mode (⌥ + M) hides the script panel and enlarges the video, to focus on recording or reviewing. Toggle it off to return to full editing.
Saving
Your changes are saved automatically (if autosave is enabled in your account settings). You can also force a save with ⌘ + S, which creates a point in the version history.
